We Are Kimchimama!

“Mama wants you to eat properly.”

These were the last words my mother said as I left home — simple, caring, and full of love.
To her, eating properly meant eating well, eating with care, and staying healthy.
At Kimchimama, we bring that same motherly love to every dish — warm, honest food that nourishes both body and soul.

Kimchi made with Love

With five sons and her husband to look after, and no daughter to help her, being a Korean housewife was a tough daily job for my mum.. especially cooking a hearty dinner to feed six hungry mouths every day. Making Kimchi, once a week, was the most important mission of love for my mum - because we ate Kimchi every day no matter what meal we had at home!

So every time she was making Kimchi, she would call on the help of her youngest son, who was... me! All the Kimchi you are enjoying now has been made with my mum's love and affection to fill you with tasty and healthy food!

Thank you mum. I love you!
